with all the frogs(to many to list) I have kept the male always seems ready to breed and always make loud calls through me house. They seem to grab onto any frog near them, but are they ready to mate? I heard frogs need to go under hibernation, wet/dry season, estivation to breed. Is this really necasary. Also I know some frogs give out a distress call, my female FBT always makes this when the male grabs on them.
