My incredible regius

Michaela Oct 03, 2003 09:18 AM

Hi Folks

Here are a few new photos of my male Python regius. His pigmention was changing since he was ca. 2 years old. Now take a look at these pics. Isn´t he looking good?

Greetings,
Michaela

Very nice, congratulation. What are you saying happened two years ago (born, caught, purchased, started changing, etc.)?

You can see his pattern in his sheds, right?

Can I ask what makes this hyper melanistic animal?

lothien Oct 05, 2003 08:10 PM

hypermelanistic means that the snake is genetically wired for more than usual amounts of melanin (black to brown pigment) in its skin. (hypomelanistic, is the opposite--the snake's black parts are faded-looking)
this snake may continue to darken throughout its life...

Interested in selling him? I have 2 females now? Bill

Hello!

My male Ballpython is NOT for sale.

Greetings,
Michaela

Figured I'd ask since I have 2 females. If you ever change your mind or would like to do a breeding loan, let me know. Also, If anyone else has a male out there(size doesn't matter) please contact me at BLREPS@optonline.net. I am working with the IMG trait and don't want to go through the whole het thing to prove it out. Thanks, Bill Lubak
