Veiled eye closed ... question

jsinger May 27, 2003 08:23 AM

i figured that he was just dehydrated and closed his eye, it sunk in a bit too - after he drank, the eye opened fully, and since then has started to 'un' puff

my question is this ... should i take him to an expert and see if the problem is more serious, or should he be ok? i mean since he drank he has gotten better, moved around more etc.

let me know

Jason-

If the eye is no longer closed and he is eating and drinking and active, there should not be a problem. If the eye continues to stay closed then you should see a vet about possible internal damage like kidney or liver frailer. Hope this helps!
