Id help please

I bought the darker male two years ago at Tinley as a dark morphed rainbow. Just curious if this would be considered Anery? I put the normal female next to him for comparison.

It looks Anery but without knowing where it came from and it's genetics you just can't know without working with it.

For example there is a Anery "line" that did not prove out to be simple recessive even though they were called anery and used in Anery related projects.

Ok, thanks for the response. I really wish I could remember who I got it from. At the time I just loved the coloration and his demeanor. So I would need a female Anery to prove him out then? Thanks again for the response.

Actually you would more need a het Anery so as to avoid the "line bred" "looks like an Anery" trap.

I would agree! If I where you I would try to get my hands on a normal, het Anery and visual Anery to evaluate the out come of the three.
