Near scare... thank god for this site... (warning: LONG POST)

so I come home yesterday to fine my 4.5 month beardie (Tobi) hasnt pooped...
his pooping has been a little off this past week ( I think he missed a day or two) but other than that acted pretty normal.. his eating is on point and all...

well when I got home from work I misted him and he got startled and moved from his spot...but he dragged his bottom and didnt use his hind legs... and when he found a new spot... as saw one of his legs twitching.. I got so scared...

so I immediatley filled a tub with warm water... and made a small circle out of a towel... and placed him in the middle of the cirlce to let his tummy hang...

he sat in there for a bit... then he decided to get out of the tub... (legs seem to work fine) so I put him back... let him soak a little more... but he insisted on getting out of the tub... I let him hang out where he wanted to (right next to the warm tub) for a bit... then put him back in his tank) he seemed ok... and decided to mask on his rock... about an hour or so later... I smell this really really bad smell... I look in tobis tank and he finally pooped and it was real runny... so I cleaned his tank out... and put him back in... it was already close to lights out... so I didnt feed him any crickets yesterday (just refilled his salad bowl)

I dunno what caused that runny stool... I have a felling it has somethign to do with his salad... as I have been varying up the veggies more latley... I guess something I am putting in is just not agreeing with him...

but on that note... I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone on this board cuz with out everyones daily responses to posts (especially newbie posts like mine lol) I would have not been able to know what to do... who knows maybe he would have been ok... maybe not... but tobi seems to bee doing fine... I am gonna see how his stool looks today... then decide what to do from there...

thanks again everyone... this forum is def the reason why I have learned so much about beardies... and have been able to give my two a good envirionment...
and a special thanks to WWW.BEAUTIFULDRAGONS.COM cuz I quickly jumped to her site to check out what to do when I saw the symptoms... THANKS

Glad your beardie seems better.
It very well could be the change in salad that caused the runny poop, but you may want to get a fecal done to be safe. Runny, smelly poop is also a sign of parasites/coccidia.

Good Luck!

I agree with Christyj also - could be parasites. I'd get a fecal done. Great job on figuring out what your beardie needed and getting it done!
