Ike, my California King

DjFizz Jan 30, 2012 02:28 AM

Hey again all, just thought I'd share some recent photos of my Cali King, Ike. I've had him for a little over a year now, and I bought him when he was a hatchling. Enjoy.

^This one is an old-ish one from maybe a few months after I got him.

^This is a more recent one, though still at least a few months ago.

^this one makes him look way bigger than he is because of the angle. I haven't measured him recently, but he's probably closer to 2 feet now, and about as thick as a AA battery.

^he had just gotten done eating in this one, as you can tell by the lump in his throat, but I timed it perfectly and it looks like he's smiling for the camera. Lol.

Yep, so there you go. Everyone always admires him because he has the stripe instead of being banded, which is also one of the things that attracted me to him in the beginning. He's my first snake, and first reptile, for that matter. Let me know what you think!

Nice reverse stripe Cal king. They make excellent pets.

He's a looker! I always did like the striped Cals better, but then a good black and white 50/50 is hard to beat also.

Very nice reverse-stripe there!

Did you get it from good ol' Don Shores by any chance?..
