The Diane Rehm Show on NPR

Marcial Jan 31, 2012 10:52 AM

The topic of discussion tomorrow will be the recent legislation. This is a national radio show and a great opportunity to get the facts out there. I believe the Andrew Wyatt of USARK will be one of the guests along with our opponents from HSUS.

Let's use this opportunity wisely. Please don't call in and act like a jackass.

Here is a link to the show's website and page for that show. Could be interesting. Very interesting.

I listened to the show today and what a joke this CEO of HSUS is.
It's very obvious he is used to arguing with people and seems to enjoy doing so. The notion of "harming your neighbor" with your exotic pets seems to be the main point of Pacelle and his HSUS.

Wayne "PUSHY" Pacelle did not let Wyatt finish any conversation he started. He jumped into and interupted nearly everything Wyatt said! I tried relentlessly to call in....I had plenty to say...but all I got was a busy signal during the entire show.

It just seems to me here in Florida, with three reptile licenses through Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commish (one to sell and exhibit, one for venomous and one for conditional species)that I pay $150 for plus $250 for a venomous bond...

>FFWCC require an onsite inspection at least twice a year
>reports must be completed every six months to report deaths, births, transfers, trades or aquisitions
>FFWCC can "drop in" on me whenever they want

don't you think we are being regulated, watched and monitored to the point there is little danger that I will put anyone at risk?
What a bunch of %*#@% brought on by big money and politics.

When someone like that were they won't let know finish is a big sign. Of insecurity and is afraid what the other person is saying is the truth hsus is only in this to get there face out there because they want more money
