Interesting Mex Mex

Jlassiter Feb 01, 2012 10:37 PM

I got this male from a guy that got him from Mike Price.
I later talked to Mike about him and got the full story.

During an illegal importation attempt at the Texas/Mexico border a gravid female mex mex was confiscated. She was awarded to the San Diego zoo where she laid her eggs. When the eggs hatched Mike was able to get some of the babies.

This is the male from the wild confiscated gravid female.....

You can send him with the melanistics. That's a cool story with that one. I love CH( F0 ) animals.

What a unique mex mex to come by. Very cool. Definatly has a different look than the average captive bred one.

Yeah it's got more of a banded look, whereas most cb's have squarish saddles.

I will email you but as of our last conversation I don't think he is.....I will see him next weekend at the Arlington, TX NARBC show.
I bred this male to Shannon's SA Zoo line female two years in a row.
Last year I got a good clutch from them.....Lots of males though....
