I am on a mex mex fix tonight but I swear I am quiting after this pair. This is a pair I produced out of what I call my classic, or traditional, bloodline. They closely resemble specimens from Valle de Las Fantasmas and probably are from there but there's no way, at this point, to know for sure. Valle de Las Fantasmas is where the original stock was supposedly collected that produced most of the mex mex in the hobby. I got the adults that produced this pair in 1995 from an unknown vendor at the San Diego Reptile Show. They are still alive but now reside in somebody else's collection.

This pair pictured here is all I have left of that bloodline and I am maintaining them distinct from the other two lines of mex mex I posted earlier. If I get offspring from this pair I will probably mix some of them with the Lemke black phase line. Both lines probably come from the same place anyways but I also intend to maintain pure lines of each. I hope you like them as much as I do.

You have some killer animals. Good to know some people like to keep things going.

Aaron, those are incredible, and IMO, the best type out there. I personally would not breed much else with those. Colors are sharp!!!

Thanks Billy and Gerard. It's nice to know other people appreciate these animals too.
