Pine Snake Housing

DanaPC Feb 02, 2012 10:38 AM

I am new to this forum and new to Pine Snakes but not new to reptiles and have owned many varieties through the years. I always wanted a Pine Snake and I have a 24" Florida Albino on the way.
She should be here tomorrow.
I have a 36"x18"x18" breeder terrarium but I am thinking that it may be to large for her at this time and I won't have it to use until Monday or Tuesday. I have a 10 gallon, screen top aquarium which I could use for a couple of days.
Would that be suitable temporary housing.
The Albino is coming from LLLReptiles and I will have a Black coming from Joe Bernardo next week.
Thanks for all your help.

that should be fine for now but don't try to both in same tank just make shore you put a titer hide box and kinda barry it in the bedding and you may want to cover three sides of the tank to much movement in the room may thow them off feed and do not put them in the sun in those tanks you'll cook em I keep my smalls in 14 by 10 rubbermades with 1/4"holes drilled high in them I find it helps them ajust better and cuts down on drafts so god luck with them
