What to add?

We are looking to add a breeder sized pair this year to do a "practice" run with our incubator etc. I am looking for something that can be used with our current snakes next year (they're still a little small for breeding). Here's what we have:

0.1 Pinstripe
0.1 Spider
1.0Pastel
0.1 Pastel 66% het axanthic (VPI)
1.0 Normal 66% het axanthic (VPI)

I'm thinking about adding a male piebald, and a female het pied to work with this year, that way we can work that in down the line for some neat pied combos. My husband is looking at adding a fire, or enchi, and add a pied in the fall to grow. He doesn't want to risk our first clutch of pieds going bad and would rather dink with normals even before that.

Given what I have, what would be a good addition? A Male and Female, that would add to our collection, not another side project.

Hi I would get what you want in your colection for the long run. Incubating is not that hard. What you want to do is set up your incubator with your tubs and fake test eggs have it running for at least a month or two before you even think you may get eggs.
