15 years of aka "DayGlo"

brianmason Feb 11, 2012 08:16 AM

Me and DayGlo became acquainted During the summer of 97" Dark for a juvi pale and different from any juvi pales I had seen up until that day. I named her DayGlo because even though she was earth toned and dark she seem to give off a glow when the sun hit her just right.

By now at sub adulthood she began to look very interesting. And it even looked like she had a light in the tip of her nose as crazy as that sounds, anyway she still had a different look from all the other pales i had seen for some reason.

Now at Adulthood she has laid two clutches of eggs by this point, news printing is coming into her look but the sun acn still give off that Day Glow look.

Ok, none of these pics portray the Day Glow image that she gives off in pearson when the sun hits her just right. So i pulled her out of hibernation on a dark cloudy day to get photos of her and as she was holding this cold snake pose it happened, the sun broke through a thin layer of clouds and VOILA!!! Old pale milk but as beautiful as ever.
