Hi,

I think about breeding boa morphs and have read the last weeks a lot of posts in the common forums. But everyone is telling spmething different about the morphs, the fertility, the mortality, etc.

I would like to open this thread to ask about the truth, because everyone has an own interest in his posts, some just wants to sell, earn as much money as they can, others don´t like morphs at all, just local forms and are telling lies and rumors about "designer morphs" and hopefully the most just cares about the health of the animals.

We know that there have been problems with albinos, super motleys, super jungles, etc... There should be some blizzards around, but I have never seen a picture from one.

For me is one of the most important question, are the problems because of the inbreeding or because of the mutation (albino, motley,..) itself?

It would be very helpful for people like myself to know the truth about morphs like Blizzards, Super motleys, etc... because I don´t want to breed an animal just because I like how it looks and it has some genetical defects, we might not know yet and the animal has to suffer its hole life.

So my questions are:

Blizzards:
- Have there been living blizzards born yet and why are there no pictures of them?
- How long have they lived and what could be the reason for them dying?
- Were the parents related and have it been sharp or Kahl albinos and where do the anery type 2 come from?

Super motleys:
- Are there living adult super motleys around or did they all die at the age of 2-3?
- I have heard that the motality rate of the columbian motley is very high, what about the CA motleys?
- They have a very flat head, are they moving normal or are they lethargic? And do we know yet, if they are infertile or not? One thought was, that they don´t build as much muscles on the back and thats the reason for the flat head and why they couldn´t copulate.

Albinos:
- Who has bred albino to albino directly and what has been the results? Has there been kinked or deformed animals?
- Were the parents related, or did they come from different breeders? So is this a problem of the albinos itself or about the inbreeding?

Sorry for my english, I am not a native speaker.
