New lens so new photos!

BNixon Feb 13, 2012 11:18 AM

I went to the stream where I had taken pics a while back to try out using my new lens a 50mm F1.8 Nikon. These were all shot using Aperture priority in the middle of the day most of which were in pretty direct sunlight.

I really love how these photos turned out can't wait to take more photos with this lens! Hopefully everyone enjoys the many photos below!

Sangre the 50% Hog Island Blood

These two photos below I REALLY liked as the shadows really made the photos have more of an artistic look to them I really enjoyed.

I have been impressed with that girl her color is intense and she makes a perfect model!

Brought out the BWC produced by Dan Brown as well and he was looking pretty hot himself.

And a full body shot...

Can't bring one caramel without the other so the VPI Jungle girl tagged along for an appearance as well.

I really liked how this photo turned out...

Here is how I make sure the snakes stay in place for photos jk

My pup has a word with them to make sure they know to stay put...

Then he observes...

Not sure if it's just him but he definitely has an interest in watching the snakes and usually stays pretty close when we go out and about.

If you made it to the end good on you it was ALOT of images and some rather large and hopefully you all enjoyed viewing them as I enjoyed taking them. Likely pulling a few others out this next weekend.

Probably one of my favorite pics although this animal didnt come with...

Nice pics Brandon. That stream looks like a good place to kick back and think deep thoughts. Very tranquil for you and your animals. They probably enjoy the brief moment of freedom and fresh air.

It is a fabulous place to go and just relax and the snakes certainly do seem to enjoy getting out and exploring sure beats a rack system!

Tend to meet some fun people out there as well You would be surprised how interesting the general public is of snakes when they see them in these shades and colors.

Great pics. It is really hard to accurately show the color in the 50% hogg island blood crosses and I think these pictures do a very good job.

I agree Bill. Those founding animals you made have continued to produce the best looking bloods anyone else that has picked one up is fortunate! I cant wait to see what Chris does with those animals this year especially with those blood co dom combos!

I have plans with her to pair her up with some of the animals I produce later on this year if all goes well! Should make for some mind blowing colorful babies!

BNixon Feb 14, 2012 11:21 AM

Yes sir, I love the lens shows the animals true coloration and look alot better. Plus the naturalistic backgrounds are killer!

Best of luck this season Manny you have some fine things cooking!
