Day 14 - Ltt contribution

Joe_M Feb 14, 2012 12:34 PM

With all of these incredible central and western milks being posted, I'll try to represent the easterns a little more.

Very reduced black, sort of hypo-ish

A bad comparison photo of the one above and another from nearby.

After taking the comparison photo I was looking at some older photos and noticed that I had this earlier shot of the other one.

Probably the "reddest" eastern I have ever flipped with a neat little pitch fork pattern. Hope to see this one again someday to see how it ages.

That second to last triangulum is a stunner, would of been tough putting him back, Ive found a lot of syspila that were tough to put back, but the photos last longer and are a good consilation prize. Nice stuff!

I strongly agree with all of what you said here Brandon. I probably would have kept it to add to my small breeding group if it was a female though.

Very nice Joe. I would have been tempted to take that little red one home!!! These days I leave almost all of them in the field myself, but wow.

Thanks Joe. Photographing them and the seeing the same individuals sometime down the road is much more rewarding than keeping to me these days.

Unfortunately I have not been able to find another live milk in my yard... Yet.

My wife found this sad scene (very large adult) just up the road while at the bus stop with the kids. We have also found a few juvi dor's in the area.

Excellent post Joe of some fabulous Ltt. Did you keep that "hypoish" looking one? I hope you did and would like to see some current photos of it soon to see how it looks as it ages.

Great stuff.

Unfortunately Dave, I did not keep that little male either. I do plan on spending some time where he was found this spring so hopefully I will see him again. Someone "cleaned up" all the steel and tin in the area though so I need to get some more boards set up soon...

You might have a couple of hypo-ish milks in that series Joe. Nice looking milks for sure.

Awesome show, Joe! Man, there are some lookers in that series. Those Easterns sure are variable, aren't they?!
