Sheding Part 2

rct4pc Oct 03, 2003 02:07 PM

Ok. My leopard gecko is a baby and I belive its sheding for the frist time. But it can't seem to get this little peice of skin of on it's head. For over a day it's ben rubbing it and trying to lick it of etc. It seems like the skin is only connected in one little area of the head. It can barly open its eyes. Is this normal? Can I do anything about it.

If i can find my camera i will attach a picture soon.

Thats odd. Usually with my leo the head is the first place to shed. Do you have a humid hide. If not, put on in. Also try misting the leo with water to help it shed. The leo might not like it but ----too bad.

HELP HIM TAKE IT OFF! does he have a humid hide? If, not he needs one especially for shedding. to take it off, go get a wet qtip and rub it on the end that is loose. until something comes up... or if you want to handle him, get your fingers wet and massage it up.. good luck!
