This is a very high saddled Maryland girl with a high blotch count and white belly. I hope she produces next year and I can get some high saddled hatchlings from her. She is neat.

Nice Joe! I sure wish I could go find those in the wild again. Eastern milks were my first captive milksnake breeding. Sure miss them. Again great looking specimen you have there!

Thanks Jimmy. She is different from the others I find and the only one I have seen with such high saddles and blotch count. Guess I am lucky to not have to drive far for them.

Nice Joe. You sure that one doesn't have some knoblochi influence in it? Lol

I dig those high saddles, too! That's a looker, no doubt about it. Is that something you see regularly from that locale, or is it sort of hit and miss?

Cole, this is the only animal I have ever seen with saddles this high. For that matter, she is the only one I have seen with such a high band count. She also has a pure white belly. I have several with white bellies, but with the other two traits going on with her I think something is up. Maybe she is het for whitesided or something. Time will tell. I like her because she is so different. My buddy found her in his driveway as a TINY hatchling in the early spring two years ago, which means she was from the previous year. She was found within a mile of where I have my main board line.

Man I was stationed in Virinia, and never thought of going herping! I can kick myself now. Nice picture Joe, and nice snake.
