Just a few pics of some Amealco L.ruthveni. Getting the camera warmed up again, itching to warm everything up.

And one Rhino rat that I took at Daytona.

Thanks Joe, after taking that photo of the Rhino Rat at Daytona I have been contemplating on getting some for a nice show tank. They are freaking cool, and can get c.b. babies instead of imports.

Yep!,..that is where they were alright!. The dude had a big spread of acrylic displays on his tables. Can't remember the guy's name now, but he had real dark hair and was very knowledgeable regarding their natural history and husbandry I remember.

I know what you mean Jimmy, time to make an appointment with "snakes anonymous" and get enrolled in a 12-step program..

Thanks Gerard, do they require special accommodations? Cool wet type, or are they more like the normal NA ratsnake?

They are pretty much the same as anything else, just with more humidity. PE has a good care sheet for them. In the next couple years I'm going to setup a room for only cooler temp SE Asian species.
