KcTrader Feb 19, 2012 07:51 AM

This is the only one that wanted to stay still long enough and didn't want to take my finger off.

Cool. When will you be breeding those?

Probably next spring, they are 2011 hatch but are eating machines. They are eating fuzzies to almost small hoppers. If they keep eating like that they should be big enough.

I love the rich color on those things, Jimmy! How big are they, now?

About 15 - 18 inches, I think the one female out of the trio is pushing 20. I agree, I am fascinated every time I open that tub. One of those snakes that I have been wanting for a long time and they continue to amaze me.

Not to rare they can be found, just have to flip the right rock...LOL... BTW nice collection on serpent track. How long have you had that Coffey line aberrant alterna? Here's one of my females.

Hey, thanks for taking a peek at my site ...glad you enjoyed. That there is probably the most unusual alterna I've seen..wow!

I got mine in late March 2009. Best info I have is he's about 4 and a half years old. A very sweet snake but a little piggy so I have to feed him sparingly. Just realized the other day that he's still growing too ...no longer have to wear my readers to see his face clearly

Yep, I'd reckon those Blanchard's findable in there habitat ...I more meant in collections. Never the less, I very rarely see a tropical milk show up in reports on FHF. ...like once, maybe twice! ...dunno what's up with that.

Cheers,
Brad

I was using a little field herping twist on finding them in collections, by saying it that way. There are a few people that work with them, and if I remember correctly I think there are two lines out there.

I have 1.1 het aberrant and 0.2 aberrant from '10. My one female is a beast, she will eat til the cows come home....She's still young though.
