Well, a few ppl said males get larger, and im curious now. How big would a year old brooksi be, male, and female. I have mine, she is only like 10 months. Well, she is pushing 30 inches already, and shes not obese either(very active). Also, she is just barely lightening up. Most of the sizes ive seen for yearlings is about 22-25inches. So if anyone has records or knowledge, id like to know the sizes of both males and females.

A year old brooksi would depend on how much you are feeding them and how much it is willing to eat. Males get a larger size at maturity than females. But a female might eat more than a male because it is an individual thing with each respective snake..
The males get quite large when they top out in size when compared to the females.
Maybe a better question would be what are record lengths for brooksi? I don't know if people keep track of the female size since they don't get record size for the floridanas.
I have several young Brooksi (03's and 02's) along with a few adults.
Of all the youngsters I have one 02 male het for Hypo Brooksi from Doug B.'s line that is over 36 inches long.
He was never power fed and was cooled last winter and is still huge for his age.
Other 02 males I have are much smaller and slender, approx. 32" or so.
I can see this snake to become another "Nasty".

I have got a yearling Brooksi and she is 32in long. I have never seen ANY snake of the same size eat like this thing does,it is a eating machine. At the moment she is having 3small/med mice once a week but would and could eat more. When it's feeding day (how do they know ?)she is like an exocet missile with teeth to anything with fur but if you put your hand in she ignores it.I must point out that I do not do this with any other snake in my collection and I know some day I will get nailed. But hey...I like to live on the wild side
