Day 21 - Urban Edition

My best friend lives in Cleveland - a "stones throw" from the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. That dude is terrified of snakes. One summer he found a DeKay's Snake in the yard and I thought that was pretty cool, because I grew up in Cleveland and as a kid, I would ride my bike to vacant lots to find these snakes.

About a month later he managed to capture a large Eastern Garter Snake in a bucket. Again, this snake was found in his yard. I was beginning to get a bit jealous - I have never found a garter within city limits and have yet to find any snakes in my 1-acre suburbs yard, which has a creek running through it.

But in August came the real prize. He and his wife came home one evening to find their indoor-only cats playing with this in the Living Room:

Not having to leave the house to catch a milk snake is kind of hard to beat!

That is insane. Your friend and Rob H have to be the luckiest people around to have Ltt in their homes. I am jealous.
