YB Paster X Spider offspring

berdache Feb 21, 2012 03:16 PM

First, my condolences to our colleague that lost his entire collection in the fire. I would be devastated.

On a brighter note, my male yellow belly pastel has locked on several occasions with my female spider. This will be my first clutch. I have done some reading and internet research. I am preparing the incubator, tubs, vermiculite, and lay box, in hopes of receiving eggs in the not too distant future. Any advice or guidance on breeding and husbandry would be greatly appreciated.

My real question is......Can anyone tell me what types of potential offspring she might lay, if we get to that point?

Thanks!

World of Ball Pythons has an excellent tool to figure all of that out.

Google world of ball pythons genetic wizard and you'll find it. You enter what you have for the father and the mother and click calculate. It will give you all the possibilities and the expected %. Note that it is only the theoretical % of each type and your results will all depend on how faithfully you perform rituals to the ball python odds gods.
