These boas come from the Paraguanera or Paraguana Peninsula in Venezuela. I believe it was in Vin's book I read that the locals call them "Paraguanas". Mr Rentfro is credited with bringing these to culture.

Are paraguanas supposed to look like anery and are considered a natural occurring anery boa?...or at least anery looking...
Some are darkish, some are lighter but the tendancy toward anerythrism common to the Belize Island Boas doesn't seem to present iteself with this local.

These are quite small and slow growing boas.
