In my reading, some posts report that some have been bred,
but no one seems to know where any are.

This was back in 2007, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=seXLbIVn3j4 there is A LOT of history about these snakes. And yes they will More than Likely be in the Main Stream in a few more years. @ years ago they were on the Classifieds for around $50,000 If I remember correctly.
