Our wacked out government is trying to take away our boas now and no one seems to care. Im getting the vibe that we already lost this fight. Bye bye boas(as well as burms, retics, anacondas, rocks, and soon to be balls)

You're not gonna find all the answers or the "hope" youre searching for here or on any forum. If youre looking for a war map on "blast" here so EVERYONE can see it, friendlies and hostiles it's not gonna happen. This problem for many reasons too long to list will be battled on "stealth mode" going forward with certain exceptions, also you're assumption we've given up is very inaccurate. I am shocked this Forum didnt have 50 new messages since yesterday... I have a gravid boa and bred boas for years. It effects me too. I also have burmese. But it seems like the community as a whole already accepted this. Shame shame

Thousands of calls were made yesterday, instead of complaining on this forum. We need to stay dilligent and focused. Your personal anxiety and doubt does ZERO good for the group. We are all frustrated and want this to go away, but we will be fighting for years to come. USARK has been a God send for all of us and the best thing you can do is donate whatever you can to help USARK . They are not quiet, but are taking the necessary steps to win this war. No, I think he is just trying to scare people into selling their animals on the cheap... That way he can pick up top notch boa's for pennies on the dollar to improve his collection. Boa's will never be added to the Lacey Act!!! It has been scientifically proven they can't survive here. There are boa's 150 miles from the US boarder in Mexico and if the could survive in Texas they would already be there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Simple science, already been proven to be a fact. He wants to add better boa's to his collection and not pay what they are truely worth. Hate people like this. It hurts those of us who have put lots of time and money into this hobby. Look at the classifieds, people like him have achieved their goal, people are selling boa's for far less than they are worth!!!

that sounds like a far fetched conspiracy, too elaborate for that guy. my gut he's tied into an animal rights group and he's here disrupting things. he's not to bright to figure it out on his own so i figured i tell him his plan hasnt and wont work.

that this will not be won by a scientific data proving what we know about boas but in a "battle of the bulge" type deal where we show we have the wherewithal to protect our rights by using the system for us the way it is being attempted to use agains us...but your point doesnt hurt about boas being safe to the northern territories, but its not going to win it for us its all about muscle. (no pun intended)

last thing to further prove you right on your point, after millions of years of evolution there is a reason boas stop in central/northern mexico and dont enter into the US. if they could survive here, we'd have the california locale boa, new mexico locale boa, texas locale boa, etc....

I will have to respectfully disagree on both points!!! I think that there is such a thing as an idiot savant and Reptilefelon may be one... As far as the boa's not being listed, the next step for HR511 is now an expert review and question and answer before the US Natural Resources Committee on the facts involved here. The herp nation will tear this bill up then. We have science on our side plus a few key people who know how to kill a bill!!!
