I found out about 2 dragons that were left by someone in an Apartment and the office staff ha dthem and was wanting to get rid of them. I called and they told me to come get them. So after i got off work I went and when I got there..... I was so disgusted. They had 2 adult beardies in a 55 gallon aquarium. No heat source and no uvb lighting. The lettuce they were feeding them was slimy it was so old and they both looked so thin and terrible. They were both females and normal phase. When I picked them up they were so weak they couldn't even hardly struggle as I was sexing them. This is after they took them to the vet and the vet told them what to do for them. They still didn't have proper heat source or anything. Then to top it off the mexican woman behind the desk (which was a different person than I originally talked to) told me as I was getting ready to take them that I couldn't have them. SHe said that this guy had spent alot of money on a cage and they had vet bills and she would have to talk to this guy to see if he wanted some money back. I had already been told by the other lady that the entire setup was left by someone in an apt. They were looking at me with this sad hungry look like please save us....
I would've gave the greedy [bleep] some money if I'd had it but I don't get paid till next Friday . I feel so bad because there is nothing I can do for them. Poor things. I'm gonna call the humane society and the SPCA tomorrow and see if they can do something about it. I tried tonight but they were already closed. My heart is just crying for those two. Very sad. Any suggestions?

or you could go buy them a heat light and a fixture and give it to them so they don't die. It depends on what you can afford, personally when it comes to issues like this I usually run myself deep into debt because I have a soft heart. God bless you for trying to save them...I hope they make it. Please keep us posted
Why not just kindly borrow them when they arent looking? Ok.......just kidding...........maybe a little persuasion with something? Other than that you could report them but if you live in their complex it could turn ugly. I would try to get them myself.
Try and contact the person who called you asking you to pick them up. Get him to meet you back there and he can deal with the woman that was giving you a hard time.
