Has anyone ever bred w. hognoses without having them go through brumation? or is it a necessity for successful breeding?

Many people have breed hognose without brumating. My opinion is that it's needed. For one it puts them on more of a schedule.

Good luck with your breedings.

Do you know of the success they had w/o brumating?

From my understanding they are having good results. There are a few people here on the forums that don't brumate hognose. Maybe they will chime in with there results.

The first couple times I ever got hognose eggs back some years ago I never brumated them. I also never hatched them as I was just working with hognose for the fun of it back then.
