Dinkers

ohernz Mar 01, 2012 03:52 PM

I have a couple of dinkers that I'd like to bring to the attention of the Forum...In 2010 I paired a male pastel to a (pretty) normal female. Out of the clutch I kept one female pastel and two "different" looking normals (male and female). The two normals look very much alike, their sides have a "granite-like" look, and they both have a light spot on the right side of the muzzle. The pastel is very pretty.
I am going to post their pics (once I figure out how) and would like to hear comments. Are they worth keeping as a dinker project? Should I breed them to each other? Should I breed them to the parents? Should I breed the male to the pastel sibling?

I'd breed the male offspring to the sister AND the mother, then breed the two Pastels to each other!

Thanks, I'll do that. The male will mature earlier than the female, so I'll breed him to the mother next season, and will keep working on the project as the females get of breeding age (size).
