Wow, I am first to post. Anyway I have Question...read on..

I have read somewhere that it is possible for female veileds to produce infertile eggs at 5 months of age, when fed alot. I do feed her much less than before because she does look like she has some 'fat'. So i was wondering if it could be that she is producing these infertile eggs...

And if she is, do i introduce the male?

Thanks

Yes female Veileds are very capable of producing eggs at 5 months of age. If you want to introduce a male you can but it is recommended to let her deposit the infertile eggs and breed her the next time around. There is a chance when the females are that young that the eggs will not become fertilized even with introduction of a male. If you would like to know a little better if she has eggs, you can gently palpate her and feel the eggs in her abdomen.

That would be usefull! Plus i need to try to avoid her wrath once i try to palpatate her.
