But Corucia are crepuscular (active at dusk and dawn), not nocturnal. I also highly recommend the De Vosjoli book mentioned.

SOUTHERN FLORIDA CORUCIA RESEARCH CENTER (SFCRC)

Location: LEE/1.

Hello,

For starters, I recommend you thoughly look over this forum. This question has been raised many times and there is very informative information by many sources there. I would also recommend engaging the search engines. Although slightly dated by the march of progress, there are 2 good starter books on Corucia Prehensile-Tailed Skinks: John Coburn and The General Care and Maintenance Of Prehensile-Tailed Skinks: Philippe de Vosjoli.

After that, If you have specific questions, by all means post again and I'm sure I speak for several here, we'll be glad to assist you.

If You haven't acquired your Corucia pair, act soon. Prices are exspected to rise rapidly. I was just informed last night that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife announced that ANY imports of Corucia from this point on will be seized and the parties involved immediately arrested. If I hear more on this, I will post.

Good luck and your on the right track by learning what is involved first.

Sincerely,
Brian
SFCRC
