Thanks Mike.....Amel ruthveni are becoming scarce.....
She'll be paired up with an almost fully striped Amealco Ruthie this year. If not this year, next year for sure... I am anxious to see what their offspring will look like.

That's a nice amel aberrant female, is your striped male het? You may have a chance at some amel supers. I wish you luck this breeding season. Hopefully you and I will be seeing this in a few months.

Thanks Jimmy...my striped male wasn't advertised as het but there's no telling with that line....at least I have a chance for supers that are definite het for amel....
And I can't wait to see everyone's eggs hatching....including mine....lol

Keeping fingers crossed for fertile eggs first. Hopefully the little change to cooling technique worked. I hope everyone has a good year this year considering how warm it was this winter.

They are at 70F right now and feeding great.....as is the entire collection......except for most of the males......as predicted....haha
I never thought kings would feed twice a week and digest just fine at 70...... Makes me rethink a few things.....I will share later.....lol
