owners are strongly encouraged to not self-treat their reptiles and Hookworms, (Fenbendazole) common name Panacur)
Tractor Supply or feed store yw

Ask on the General Snake forum, as vets sometimes respond there.

I think the other poster is correct about the drug listed. What you need to know is the volume of drug per weight of animal for proper dosing. You can find that online.

Reptile dosage for Fenbendazole (Panacur) ranges from 25 - 100 mg/kg. You will need to use a diluted solution. I recommend finding a reptile vet.

Why are there not more vets that do reptiles and birds. the reptile area has to be the fastest growing. And I would like it would be adventitious in a business sense to offer herp treatment. I know they can charge a TON for meds. I don;t have many herps right now, but I can't find a good bird vet for 100 miles.

Not sure but I can't see why any half decent vet can't figure out how to treat for Hookworms for the fellow above.
