These are stunning. I love the darkness of the heads in comparison to the brightness of the body. Some of the photos remind me almost of black head pythons because the heads are much darker. Very beautiful!

Me too, there are several distinct differences between these and normals, obviously the stripe, color and black heads. Also the tongues are pink and also been noticing some irregular markings at the lowest part of the side, almost on the belly. Will have to get some pics

Dave,
Are you selling Zadie or anyone of these? I have been on to look at picture of these everyday since the day you posted in the Facebook group.

rainbowsrus Mar 16, 2012 03:24 PM

Weird, had a long response typed out and it did not post....

I have decided to keep the entire litter to help me work out the genetics and produce more. I believe the trait is Co-dominant with Zadie being heterozygous (one Candy Stripe gene) and Zeus being homozygous (2 Candy Stripe genes)

I do have Ziggy and Zoe back together for 2012 and may sell some of those depending on what I get.

Hey Dave!
I love how those little guys are looking! I noticed that a couple of the supers have some white scales on their backs, is this something that has just come up? I didn't notice it when I came to see them.
Think it might progress? Btw I was sorry to hear about Fluffy

1.2 BRBs

Yeah, I saw them as well, Noticed them early on and I think it's just the scales getting bigger making them more noticeable.

Thanks RE Fluffy, sucked but what can you do? IMO he was likely older than I knew. Part of the unknown id Brian was not clear how long he had him.
