strattonreptiles Mar 14, 2012 09:44 PM

How old and how big should Brook's Kingsnakes be to breed? Like, Feet and grams? Thanks, Nick.

"Age" does not have anything to do with it. Size matters. And just make sure a female is fed well so she will produce follicles. Even a 6 foot Florida will not produce unless she has some fat on her. The calories is what makes them produce eggs.

I have bred several females between 20"-22". This year I have about 6 gravid females at that (or close to) that length.

Males breed even smaller.
