helpful tip of the day

I usually feed my snakes in the evening because that uis when they are more likely to eat and respong to feeding.

In the moring the first thing I do is scan the room for any activity inside the snake racks.

I do have a large collection so when i walk into the snake room the first thing I do is look to see if there are any snakes moving around. It is because this is when they should be most dormant.

If i see a snake (snakes) moving or pacing back and forth in their cage in the morning that tells me something is wrong. It could mean they are to hot, hungry, dehydrated, have mites or something else that is making them unhappy or uncomfortable. It tells me something isn't right so I check those cages first to look inside and see what is going on.

Maybe applying these principles to our other halfs would make things better to.
