Pinner Annulata

KcTrader Mar 18, 2012 09:15 AM

A nice pair of pinner annulata I picked up from Shannon. Just a few more morphs to add to that collection. I think a nice pair of spotted would be next. I was trying to research that spotted trait, is it genetic or is it a line bred?

Here's another Shannon Brown pick up. I really like this T %2B gene.

Both very nice pick ups Jimmy. I like both varieties.

Thanks Dennis! Good luck with all you pairings this season.

WOW what is that a super vanishing T Plus nelsoni? That thing is insane looking, I thought the one I had looked good lol.
From what I've heard the Spotted annulata are hit or miss for producing more Spotteds but breeding Spotted to Spotted increases your chances. I'm still pretty disappointed my male spotted got loose before winter. I saw a small pair for sale on the classifieds recently but they look like it might be a while before they're up to size for breeding. Nice pinstripes too.

She is really cool looking, she is in shed in that photo too so I can't wait to see her afterwards. Thanks, she is going to be bred to an amel hypoE male. I think the hypoE is really going to look good with that t%2B gene.

Thanks for the info on the spotted gene too. I thought that was the way it went but wasn't for sure. I saw the same ad, they are pretty pricey. IMHO. How are your annulata doing?
-----

mikefedzen Mar 18, 2012 07:39 PM

They are a little pricey... But I only say that because they aren't as spotted as I would want them to be... I paid 1,000 for a pair of spotteds that was bigger than those and more spotted, the nice spotted babies go for 500 each.
My annulata are doing good, they're all getting stuffed with food and I'm gonna throw them together once they start shedding. Hopefully my albino male or a het albino male will breed with the spotted female I have, then hopefully an albino spotted will be even a little bit possible.

Shannan sure does have some interesting snakes. This one is very odd looking. I've never seen one like it.

Man!,...I've always loved those colorful pinner annulata Jimmy. That really sucks HUUUGE that you lost a sweet one a good while back. It would be cause for a party if you happen to be doing something one day and discover it again. I really hope that is the case too, because we have all heard some very bizarre stories of people finding their LONG lost animals much later on...

Thanks Doug, but I didn't lose one Mike did. He lost his male spotted this fall I think is what he typed. They are pretty sweet, I think is was Cole who posted one from Dave Niles this year and they went on that "have to have list" they skipped the "wish list". Since then I have added a few more annulata to that have to have list.

DMong Mar 18, 2012 05:41 PM

Oh geeez, sorry..LOL!. I got to reading all of the responses and forgot it was Mike that lost his.

Yeah, too funny how lists can go from "wish" to MUST-HAVE" sometimes..LOL!...nobody can blame you there either.

Sweet those are some killer animals that don't get any respect at all anymore. I will be in touch this fall.
