>>Yeah, that head pattern is awesome looking! Do their hypos look like alterna hypos?
There's actually two different looks....
I have what most call hypos but I don't know if they are truly hypomelanistic....I call them light phase....

Then there are SuperHypos as the Europeans call them.....

Hi!
This pic shows 3 variations of greeris:
To the right you can see my lightphase het hypo female(germany `05) and a hypo-female to the left, and the superhypo male in the center.
Superhypo is a cambination of hypo and lightphase(reduced).
This male has red eyes like all superhypos I have produced.
And this male is the first that has hatched in germany (05).
The lightphase female named "Rowenta" and the superhypomale"Primero" are the parents of john`s greeri. So he has a good change to produce the superhypos...
The next pic shows the first superhypo-female , she has hatched in 2009:
Last season 2 superhypos has hatched, here is a pic of the male that is now owned by my friend Sebastian Jung (germany):
regards,
Michael

Bob Applegate produced hypos over 15 years ago.....
I don't know what year the first Super Hypos were produced....
I believe it to be the result of breeding a light phase to a hypo or hypo X hypo....A Super form somewhat like the super striped Ruthveni.....
And yes that bottom photo is Jeff Teel's.....

Very nice greeri John,
can you post a pic of the snake that shows the tail?
John, you know i am not asking for something without a good reason...Have you seen the parents of your new greeri?
All the hets I have seen display not the typical coloration on the tail...

I have a female het hypo that her tail is very light. If I get a chance I will take a photo tonight and post for you.

Hi Jimmy,
and that is the reason why I have asked John for a pic that shows the complete snake...
this pic shows my old het-hypo female(sold)
and this is a double-het female produced by Marita S. in 1997 (f2) , this greeri is the mother of the german superhypos...
Both females show an unusual coloration on the tail...
and another pic of her son "Primero" for you...
yours
Michael
Very nice John. Her head is WICKED cool.
