Any info you guys have would be immensely helpful, i've heard they can be kinda mean, but i've looked at some old posts and haven't seen anything to that effect. Also, how big do they normally get?

I used to have a flapneck and he was the sweetest thing in the world. I had him for about a year and a half and he unfortunately died from a mouth infection. He bit me once but that was because I scared him. As far as size they are on the smaller side ( generally smaller than veileds ). Hope this helps

a friend of mine has a flapneck, it is the meanest thing I have ever seen. she will actually charge you to try and bite, even if you are just cleaning or putting crickets in the cage. she hates to be held or watched and turns completely black. nasty little thing. but I guess all chams have their own personality. good luck
