It's "macro lens day"! Some Guyanese BCC

Jonathan_Brady Mar 22, 2012 03:50 PM

I bolted the Canon EF-S 60mm macro lens onto my Canon 60D today and pulled out a couple of my boas with the hopes of getting some nice detailed face shots. Here's what I came up with...

2011 female imported from Guyana by Bushmaster - purchased from Ryan at Clockwork Reptiles.

This last shot is a full body shot... I got off task

The next Guyanese boa is a male that was produced here in 2010. He's nice and light today

Close up...

Even CLOSER!

I REALLY like this lens! It's nice and sharp and gives a great bokeh (background and foreground blur)

Off task again! Body shot!

Last shot for today...

Thanks for looking

What's written above is purely my opinion. In fact, MOST of what you read on the internet is someone's opinion. Don't take it too seriously

That's a great lens beautiful images and I'm happy you go off task slightly . . . . . . as the head shots alone are never enough for me
to get my Boa fix. I really Luv all of those Guyanese Boas of yours Jb

Some really nice photos! and boas of course!

Macro lenses are great for shooting some close-ups of snakes - I love my 105mm macros for doing so. Keep posting the nice shots!
