Leo doesn't eat to much

punker055 Feb 08, 2003 12:53 PM

I have a question about one of my leos. She is blind in one eye and the other doesn't seem to work to well but she can still see out of it. She eats 1 mealie a day, if that, but she keeps a steady weight. Is there anyway to get her to eat more? I don't like the idea of forcefeeding. I did it once to a sick gecko and it died over night from the stress.

That's too bad. But at least she is keeping a good weight. Do you know what is wrong with the eye that can still see a bit?? Maybe it can be helped.

I didn't buy a blind gecko. When she was about a year old some huge really hard thing formed on the outside of one eye. I was only like 12 so it didn't even occur to me to take her to a vet.
