For those of us on this forum here's the GREAT NEWS! an exerpt from the article:

"Not all reptiles are banned. If you are just tired of taking care of that boa constrictor or iguana, too bad. The state will not take legal animals at the amnesty day."

These means boas and iguanas, etc are legal. truth is these are so loved and kept, you cant call them exotic anymore. im sure there was once a time when a cockatoo was exotic now its a common pet. thank you for the link!

Great news!

But the fact that we even have to worry about all this legislation makes me so sad...

i wish i could tell you there is a sector somewhere that is unregulated and you will be insulated from all this, and is free of injustices other than playing golf or something...we deal with the cards we're handed and make our destiny, and thats how its always been since time began..

Oh my god... It just gets worse and worse.
Tarantulas? Dart frogs? REALLY?

VINE SNAKES? Argh. I honestly have nothing intelligent that I can possibly say about this. It's just ridiculous and distressing beyond belief.
