Hi Jimmy,
thanks for the pics of the nice prairie-kings, have not seen them many times here...and a BIG thanks for the alterna-pics.The second alterna made Tanja speechless...is that the "coffee-line"?

Thanks! Yea, you sure don't see many calligaster anymore. They are the most docile snake I have worked with. Well except for when they are hungry. I seem to like the hypo's better than the amelanistic's but they both have nice colors. I would like to try and produce some striped hypomelanistics. Hopefully the females I have will be ready for some pics in a few days the just don't ever sit still long.
You're welcome on the pics, and yes that is a "Coffey Line" aberrant Grayband. They should be big enough to breed next spring. I have 1.1 het aberrant and 0.2 aberrant. Maybe some day I will get my hands on a nice anery or hypomelanistic grayband to introduce in to these crazy patterns. Thanks again! Here's a female thayeri I produced last year from a male melanistic X reduced black leonis.

You're missing out. The prairie's are just killer to work with. They should be more popular but I guess with no real morphs other than albino and hypomelanistic it doesn't draw enough attention. Oh yea it doesn't have any red on it, that is why you haven't worked with them. Hahaha!!!!

Poor planning and procrastination on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part...

"Leonis" really? How so?
-----
Good point John I couldn't picture any resemblances to leonis. Thanks, I always looked at calligaster as a kingsnake version of a gray rat or corn.

Nice, I want to get a pair of those hypos when you have some babies. I have wanted to get some for awhile.

They are cool, much better looking in person. It will be a few years before I produce Hypos but I will have hets hopefully this year. I have 2.0 albino males 0.3 het albino females and 0.2 normals. One of the females is real light but not a hypo.
