White Diamonds

ohernz Mar 28, 2012 06:59 AM

I just saw pics of White Diamonds for sale and both snakes had a yellow stripe down their backs. I thought White Diamonds were pure white...The "whitest" of the BELs...Am I wrong? Do White Diamonds have a yellow stripe?

Hi,

I have seen a few white diamonds with yellow dorsal blotching/striping. I guess they are variable, like everything else. I have heard that het wds bred to mojaves produce the whitest BELs. However, I have produced BELs from a lesser to a mojave for many years and they consitantly mature to a patternless snow white. Most have faint, pearl colored face and dorsal markings when they hatch, but by a year or two they are snow white.

In My Opinion, they all have white dorsal and they are all the same.

You are whire or you aren't !

The only exception would be the super mojo who isn't a super lucy IMO.

But
Mojave x Lesser
Lesser x Lesser
Lesser x Butter (lesser and butters are the same)
White Diamond
Het Russo x Het Russo

all produce the same bels with some little variation
