ball python eggs?

i have two females im hoping are gravid some days they look gravid some days they dont but im pretty sure one of them will give me eggs. my question is should i have my incubator plugged in already with a vermiculite tub set up so if and when they lay im ready or do most of you wait to see eggs? just curious to see how everyone does its? thanks in advance.

Set it up ahead of time. That way you have time to make sure it is working properly before you have eggs.
