Some of the higher-quality latex paints are pretty strong smelling. I would move them out for 12-24 hours.

I hope you understand, that no matter what answer you recieve here, if your snakes suffer from the paint, its your fault.

If it were me, I would go by the old saying, its better to be safe than sorry. That is a no lose situation. Good Luck F
