albino male to mosaic female. Oddly enough both of them were off feed for the last week, my high white het albino just shed last night and the male went crazy when I put her shed in with him. So I fed the high white to bulk her up some more and threw the male in with the mosaic who hasn't had an appetite lately. 10 minutes later...

Congrats...Is the Mosaic het for amel?
At least you will get more Mosaics (het for amel) since the gene is co dominant, right?

Poor planning and procrastination on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part...

Hey John,
I'm not entirely sure on the Mosaic's genetics, I've heard the Mosaic trait is co-dominant, I'm just gonna expect het albinos. Whether they come out Mosaic or not is up to them.

Those should make some interesting offspring!
I have one adult pyro male and two adult male pituophis, and none of them are currently eating. All my females are eating like there is no tomorrow. I think the pheromones must be reeking in my house, and my males wont resume eating until that subsides, either through mating or time passing. It is hard to watch the poor frustrated males restless in their cages, but I am trying to prevent breeding, only allowing one breeding this season with my pyros.

Keeping cats allows man to cohabitate with tigers. Keeping reptiles allows man to cohabitate with dinosaurs.
