brightest yellow?

geckoejon Mar 29, 2012 05:45 AM

hello,

just wondering, in your opinion, what are the bp's that have the brightest yellow coloration? i'm referring to non-albinos.

i see pics of hundreds of different morphs. it's hard to tell with different lighting and cameras being used.

feel free to post a couple pics. thanks...

Hey Guys, I hope you understand the Vanilla Pastel is a really great looking snake on its own being very bright for the most part but this picture of mine and the picture Mike put up are not Vanilla Pastels but rather SUPER Vanilla Pastels. Vanillas are great guys, I have included 2 pictures of Super Vanilla stuff. The Super Vanilla Pastel and the Super Vanilla Ghost. I will see if I can find a comparison picture I took one time with the Pastel and how the Vanilla gene changes it. PS I also included a picture of what the Vanilla gene does to the Pastave too..

Sorry I didnt edit the comparison picture of the 3 Pastels. What you have in that picture is lower left Pastel, upper left Vanilla Pastel and on the right is the Super Vanilla Pastel. Thanks, Jay

Your firefly is outstanding. He should look great as an adult too I would think. The yellow is nice and clean...

That is an exceptional firefly. When I first saw one it looked like that, all of the others I have seen since have not been nearly as nice.

Could you tell me a little more about this project. Thanks

I think the brightest yellow BPs have to be juvenile classic jungles...They hatch out bright yellow and black. Too bad they fade out to brown and that they are (apparently) a non-genetic morph. I had a jungle in my very first clutch. I didn't know what he was so I showed him to Amir, who identified him as a jungle, and explained that you can't reproduce this variation (how disappointing). He is now brown, but still a good looking snake. I still have him and have bred him to his sisters...
