What would you get if you bred a Choc. Banded Cal. king to a dot dash cal king? would you just get a mixed clutch or an unusual pattern? I'm not familiar with gentics in colubrids.

chocolate banded x dot-dash Cal king.
Dot-dash probably means that the snake is heterozygous for striped. If so, mating it to a banded will produce some bandeds and some heterozygous striped snakes. The expression of striped is so variable that you might get anything from a good stripe to dot-dash to mostly banded with a few areas of stripe.
I'm not certain of the genetics of chocolate, either. My guess is it's a recessive mutant. So I wouldn't expect any chocolates out of this mating.
