BW Caramels (Jungle ?)

dan80woma Apr 01, 2012 02:15 PM

Born on April 1st. An early litter with 6 stills 8 pills and a dozen or so live. Many have yolk sacs. Im hoping they will make it. It looks like a nice jungle that was still born along with twins. Same pairing as last year from Steve Scroggs 2007 litter.

I know, the still borns were ridiculous ! I would bet the one is a sure jungle, but it doesnt matter. Any thoughts on how long to wait before the dental floss, and cutting off the yolk sac ?

I always get rid of the yolk right away . . . . I believe it just weighs them down both physically and metabolically.

That's how I personally feel about extra external yolk.

I hope the little guys pull through for you !

Man what a difference just 5-10 days could make, if these babies would of held on 1 more week i bet it would of been totally different. I hope you can save them all Dan, cause they are all clean and beautiful.
