Scarlet Hypo Fem and VPI PP Caramel

LarM Apr 05, 2012 08:28 PM

I have a very nice and colorful Fem "OT Hypo" from my Scarlet Line.

The Pastel Dream Scarlet Line that started with Jeff that I am now working with extensively.

I'm hoping to wrench up the Selective aspect of these VPI projects by pairing my 2008 Male VPI Caramel Pink Panther from the Double Dose Christmas litter to my '08 Scarlet Hypo.

The Quadruple Het Boas in that litter you linked to Tracy are crazy clean and colorful.

I'm hopeful for some excellent clean colorful Double and Triple Het for Scarlet Pastel Dream, and Scarlet Pastel Pink Panthers.

Here are some Images from that pairing from this season . . . . .

Good luck!

Are those pics pretty recent? When do you expect them to give birth?

Thx TC, they are kind of a progression of images over time the last picture was taken yesterday.

She never had an obvious ovulation or a POS but from her behavior and the males behavior,
I have her marked down for the middle of June . . . fingers crossed !

Thx Mitch , I wasn't going to post up any images but I got antsy so I went a head posted these.

I'm extremely hopeful about this pairing and I believe some very nice offspring could be produced from it.

So I'm keeping a positive out look about the possibilities and hoping for the best !

Lar,

It's a long and expensive process to be selective in your breeding and just use the very best boas. It's always nice seeing someone willing to take the time to do that, as we will all benefit.

I love Sunglow VPI T's and the pairing in your post should really kick things up a notch. Good luck and keep us posted!

Thx John I appreciate your comments , I'm so extremely hopeful about this pairing !

I couldn't be the first or even close to it in these VPI projects because of some bad turns , so selectivity is
the direction I decided was the best direction to go !

She's not as big and full looking as I'd like to see her, which makes me a little nervous, but
when she's in the HCP she looks pretty good, so that keeps me optimistic.

LarM Apr 06, 2012 08:35 PM

Thx Tracy, one Day I think she's definitely viable . . . . . . . the next I have doubts.
So it will be a great treat if I get a few !
